Hero (TV series)

listening to this song reminded me of the japanese tv series HERO. http://ping.fm/KpIOt

Hero is a Japanese drama series that aired in Japan on Fuji TV in 2001 and in Philippine TV (GMA7).

The story centers around Kuryu Kohei, a young public prosecutor was transferred to a division in Tokyo. Kuryu (played by Takuya Kimura) is unlike any typical prosecutor, he dresses casually and ignores standard procedures. He is more suited as an investigator because of his brilliant instincts and determination. He espouses a very strong sense of justice, and his idealism has a great impact on his colleagues.

In the first part of the story, his colleagues did not like him because of his easy going attitude, and seemed not too serious in his work. Even his assistant, Amamiya, who was aiming to be promoted to the position of a prosecutor, could not stand working with him and asked to be replaced. However, as the story continues, his colleagues slowly began to believe in him. Even Amamiya and Kuryu's working relationship eventually leads to a something that bordered on romance.
